A man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash in Torquay this afternoon, 21 February.
Around 12,50pm, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Bideford Road and Exeter Street following reports of a crash involving a black BMW motorcycle and a grey Isuzu D-Max.
The rider of the BMW, a 40-year-old Torquay man, was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Isuzu, a 58-year-old Point Vernon woman, was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage, particularly anyone with relevant vision of the motorbike prior to the crash, to come forward.
