Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Everton Park

A man has died following a serious motorbike crash in Everton Park on Tuesday, January 24.

Shortly after 5.00pm, a motorbike was travelling along Old Northern Road near Dargie Street when it lost control and crashed.

The rider, a 59-year-old Perth (WA) man, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital for treatment where he passed away on Thursday, January 26.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the crash, and appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision to come forward.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.
