Police responding to serious traffic crash at Nerimbera

Police are appealing for public assistance as part of the investigation into a serious traffic crash at Nerimbera near Rockhampton this morning (October 24), which has left two people in a critical condition.

Initial investigations indicate at approximately 5.30am on Emu Park Road a crash has occurred between a silver Ford Focus and silver Subaru Forester.

The occupants of the Subaru, a 41-year-old Norman Gardens man and a 43-year-old Norman Gardens woman, were transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Ford Focus, a 17-year-old girl, was transported to Rockhampton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash.

Investigators appeal to anyone with information, or who was driving in the area between 5am and 6am and has dashcam footage of the vehicles in the lead up to the crash, to come forward.
