Police search for missing Sebastopol man Maxwell Flowers

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing man Maxwell Flowers.

The 76-year-old was last seen at his Sebastopol home and drove away in a burgundy 2010 Mazda BT50 utility with registration XXP 302 about 10.30am today.

Police and family hold concerns for Maxwell as his disappearance is out of character and he has a medical condition which requires regular medication.

Maxwell is described as being 183cm tall, medium build, bald headed, has slouched shoulder and wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing a dark navy windcheater and tracksuit pants and is known to frequent the Ballarat and Ararat areas.

Police have released images of Maxwell and a car similar to his in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.

Anyone who sees Maxwell or has information on is whereabouts is urged to contact Ballarat Police Station on 5336 6000.
