Police Seek Elderly Woman Missing From Queanbeyan

Police are appealing for information as they search for an elderly woman missing from the Queanbeyan area.

Harbans Kang, aged 84, was last seen on Dixon Place, Jerrabomberra, between 10am and 2pm yesterday (Thursday 17 April 2025).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Monaro Police District were contacted and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Concerns are held for Harbans' welfare as she lives with dementia.

Harbans is described as being of Indian appearance, of slim build, about 145cm tall, with brown hair.

She was last seen wearing blue pants, an aqua coloured hooded jumper, and joggers.

Anyone who sights Harbans is urged to contact Queanbeyan Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
