Police seek help to find missing woman at Birrong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Bankstown area.

Serena Ly, aged 20, was last seen at her home on Gascoigne Road, Birrong, about 6pm yesterday (Friday 1 July 2022).

When she couldn't be located, family members contacted Bankstown Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Serena's welfare, as she lives with autism and is non-verbal.

Serena is described as being of Asian appearance, between 155cm to 160cm tall, of medium build, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a yellow/brown jacket, with her hair in a ponytail.

She is known to travel on the public transport, particularly the train network into the Sydney CBD.

Anyone who may have seen Serena or who may have information on her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
