Police seek help to find missing woman at Southport 1 November

Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate an 83-year-old woman reported missing from Southport.

Julianna Markou was last seen around 5:30pm this afternoon at her home in Nesbit Street and was reported missing after she failed to return from a short walk.

Concerns are held for her as she has a medical condition and may be disorientated.

She is described as 155cm tall, around 70kg, with brown/grey hair and an olive complexion.

She was last seen wearing a white and black chequered jacket, black shirt, a black skirt and black shoes.

Julianna speaks broken English and officers urge anyone who sees her contact police immediately.

Investigations are ongoing.
