Police seek information after two-vehicle crash - Eastgardens

Police are appealing for public assistance following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney's east yesterday.

About 6.30pm on Thursday (18 November 2021), emergency services were called to the intersection of Wentworth and Banks Avenue at Eastgardens, after a Toyota Corolla and motorcycle collided.

The motorcycle rider – a 27-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene and taken to Prince of Wales Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Corolla – a 27-year-old man – was uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As inquiries continue, police are urging anyone with information, or dashcam footage from the area, to come forward.
