Police seek information: Fatal traffic crash, Woongoolba

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic crash involving a motorbike and car in Woongoolba yesterday evening.

Preliminary information suggests the motorbike was travelling along Brendt Road when it collided with a sedan near Mill Road around 9.40pm.

The motorbike rider, a 22-year-old man from Pimpama, suffered significant injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The 20-year-old male driver of the sedan did not sustain any physical injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have been driving through the area at the time of the incident or may have dashcam footage to come forward.
