Police are appealing for information in relation to an overnight multi-vehicle traffic crash on the Pacific Motorway southbound near Pimpama.
Early investigations indicate four cars were involved in a collision near Exit 49 around 2am (July 9).
A man in his 30s was transported in a serious but stable condition to Gold Coast University Hospital.
Investigations into the crash are continuing and anyone with information or dash cam footage is asked to contact Coomera Police Station.
