Police Seek Missing Teen Girl From Double Bay

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

Katie Kassis, aged 14, was last seen in Double Bay about 11:45am last Monday (18 May 2026).

When she was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Katie's welfare due to her age.

Katie is described as being of Caucasian appearance with a fair complexion, 165cm, 70kg slim build, brown hair out, green/blue eyes, nose and ear piercings.

When last seen she was wearing black tracksuit pants, black hoodie with a green logo on the front, pink/white crocs, black backpack, and carrying a small white "Steve Madden"-brand handbag.

Katie is known to frequent the Double Bay, Lidcombe and Auburn areas. She is believed to be using public transport.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is asked to contact Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
