Police seek witnesses after fatal Mount Waverley collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Mount Waverley earlier this week.

A truck and a motorcycle collided at the intersection of Huntingdale Road between Estelle Street and Carrol Grove about 7.30am on Tuesday, 6 September.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 58-year-old Frankston man, died at the scene.

A 35-year-old Cranbourne West man, who was driving the truck, was interviewed by police and has been released pending further enquiries.

Investigators believe a number of vehicles were in the area at the time of the collision and urge those drivers to come forward.
