Police seek witnesses and dashcam footage after serious collision in Laverton North

Westgate Highway Patrol officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a serious collision in Laverton North on Wednesday, 19 May.

Emergency services were called to Little Boundary Road to reports of a multi vehicle collision about 3.10pm.

It's believed a blue Holden Commodore ute travelling west on Little Boundary Road collided with a stationary white Hilux ute propelling it over the median strip where it landed on its roof.

The blue Commodore then collided with a grey Subaru, a grey Nissan 4WD and a silver Lexus sedan.

The driver of the Commodore, a 26-year-old Bundoora man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The female driver of the white Hilux was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The drivers of the other vehicles were treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
