Police seek witnesses - Hit and run at Humpty Doo

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following a hit and run incident in Humpty Doo earlier this morning.

At about 5:40am, a 32-year-old woman was walking along Girraween Road, when she was allegedly hit by a vehicle. The vehicle did not stop at the scene.

Nearby witnesses assisted the woman before St John Ambulance conveyed her to Royal Darwin Hospital.

At this stage, the vehicle description is unknown however, during the incident the vehicle's left side mirror was knocked off and left at the scene.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dash-cam footage from Girraween Road, between 5:30am and 6:00am, is urged to contact police on 131 444. Please quote reference number 9854590.
