Police Seek Witnesses To Aggravated Robbery In Darwin 29 April

Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses after an aggravated robbery in Darwin City over the weekend.

Around 3:30am on Saturday, police received reports that a man, concealing his face, entered a restaurant on Smith Street armed with a knife.

The man allegedly threatened staff before stealing a quantity of cash from the till and fleeing the scene on foot.

Strike Force Trident are investigating the incident and it is believed two witnesses were inside the premise at the time of the offending and may have vital information.

Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call 131 444 and quote reference NTP 2400041530.
