Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses in relation to an alleged assault which occurred in Nhulunbuy.
The incident occurred in bushland in the vicinity of Jasper Court around 5:10am on Sunday 16 June 2019. A woman was allegedly assaulted by two men who are unknown to her. Police believe the woman may have bit one of the males on his hand.
A witness contacted police and the victim was conveyed to Gove District Hospital.
