Police seek witnesses to Prahran affray

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after an affray in Prahran earlier this year.

The incident occurred outside an entertainment venue on Chapel Street about 4.45am on Monday, 20 June.

Investigators have been told five unknown male offenders were involved in the brawl before one of the males returned to his vehicle and deliberately drove in the direction of the victims, narrowly avoiding them.

Luckily no-one was injured during the incident.

The first man is perceived to be Middle Eastern in appearance, a solid build, a shaved head and a large beard and was wearing a black and grey hoodie, black jeans and shoes.

The second man is perceived to be Middle Eastern in appearance, a slim build and wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a grey cap and white runners.

The third man is perceived to be Middle Eastern in appearance, a medium build and was wearing a light striped jacket, blue jeans and a white cap.

The fourth man is perceived to be Middle Eastern in appearance, a medium build and was wearing grey hoodie, blue jeans and a red cap with a white logo.

The fifth man is perceived to be Middle Eastern in appearance, a medium build and was wearing a black jacket with grey sleeves, green pants, white runners and a red cap.

Police have released CCTV and images of five men and a car, who may be able to assist with their enquiries.
