Police Seize Tasers, Fake Firearm, Drugs in Dingley Village

Police have arrested a man allegedly in possession of prohibited weapons and drugs, during a search at a home in Melbourne's southeast.

Detectives from the Caulfield Divisional Response Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Lower Dandenong Road, Dingley Village, just after 10.30am yesterday.

During the search, police uncovered an imitation handgun and two electronic stun devices, as well as quantities of amphetamine and cannabis.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at the property and charged with possessing prohibited weapons, and possessing drugs of dependence.

He was bailed to appear in Moorabbin Magistrates' Court on 31 May.
