Acacia Ridge CIB and Homicide Unit detectives are appealing to the public for information as part of Operation Uniform Bolar, the investigation into the alleged murder of two people at Stretton in the early hours of Monday, August 8.

It will be alleged police were called to a Coolidge Court property at approximately 5.40am, where a woman in her 40s and man in his 20s were located deceased.

A 49-year-old Stretton man was taken into custody at the scene, and has since been charged with two counts of murder. He remains in the Princess Alexandra Hospital being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
