Police are continuing an air and land search for missing 22-year-old Nelly Bay man, Ben Chisholm on Magnetic Island.
Ben was last seen walking towards the Arcadia walking trails around 11.30am on Wednesday, July 13 and has not been seen or heard from since.
Acting Inspector Mark Camilleri said police are again increasing resources in the search for Ben.
"Today, the Townsville Queensland Police Service recruits are being deployed to Magnetic Island to assist in the search.
"The ground search is particularly challenging due to the rugged terrain, so we have deployed more people to assist in the land search," Acting Insp Camilleri said.
