Police update: Charges - Serious harm - Palmerston

Northern Territory Police have charged a woman in relation to a domestic violence incident in Palmerston earlier this week.

Detectives from Serious Crime arrested the 37-year-old yesterday and have since charged her with one count of acts intended to cause serious harm.

She was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.

The victim remains in a stable condition at Royal Darwin Hospital.

Detective Senior Sergeant Brett Cottier said, "Police would like to thank the members of public who provided information and those who stopped to render first aid, their actions certainly assisted in saving the man's life.
