Police update: Child stealing charges at Beenleigh

Police have charged four people following an alleged break and enter of a residence in Chasley Court where a child was taken last night.

Around 11.30pm police were called after reports of a disturbance occurring between multiple people.

It is alleged a 27-year-old woman was struck with an object, receiving injuries to her arm, wrist and back before a two-year-old boy was removed from the address.

The boy, who was subject of a public police appeal, was located safe and well this afternoon.

A 26-year-old Marsden woman and a 39-year-old Marsden man were this morning charged with one count each of enter with intent, assault occasioning bodily harm and child stealing.

They appeared in court today and have been remanded in custody to appear again at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on October 12.

A 23-year-old Morayfield woman was this afternoon charged with one count each of enter with intent, assault occasioning bodily harm and child stealing. She is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, October 10.
