The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing to appeal for witnesses following a fatal three-vehicle traffic crash at El Arish on Friday, 3 July.
At 1.20pm, a collision occurred in the southbound lanes of the Bruce Highway involving a white utility, a silver utility and a motorbike carrying two people.
The 30-year-old female pillion passenger on the motorbike was declared deceased at the scene.
The 22-year-old male rider remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
Investigators believe that another southbound vehicle, travelling behind a white van at the time of the crash, also took evasive action at the scene. Officers are appealing to the driver of that vehicle to contact Policelink to assist with the investigation.
