Bendigo police are hunting a portly porch pirate after a present was pinched from a property in Flora Hill.
Investigators have been told a package was left on the front porch of a property on Osborne Street, Flora Hill on Thursday 1 December.
Around 4.50pm a man attended the property and stole the package which contained a Country Road handbag which was destined to be a Christmas gift.
The offender is perceived to be Caucasian, 175 centimetres tall with a solid build and distinctive haircut and beard.
Investigators have released images and CCTV of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
