Porsche burnt out after burglary in Parkdale

Police are appealing for public assistance after a Porsche was stolen and found burnt out following a burglary in Parkdale earlier this month.

It is believed unknown offenders forced entry into a house on Elliot Street sometime between 1.30pm and 4pm on Thursday 1 August.

Once inside, offenders located car keys and stole a grey Porsche registration P9XX, electrical goods and a mobile phone.

Kingston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating and believe the Porsche was seen in the Glen Waverley area on 11 August before it was found burnt out on Coral Drive in Hampton Park later that day.

Investigators have released images of the stolen vehicle and also an image of a man that may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information or who may recognise the trucks are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
