Potato Shed unveils 2024 season

The Potato Shed has launched the 2024 season line-up, showcasing an extraordinary array of theatre, dance, circus performances and music from local artists and touring companies.

The multi-arts facility on the Bellarine Peninsula is renowned for hosting world-class performances and the forthcoming season is sure to be another unforgettable celebration of all things performing arts.

The 2024 season launch on Wednesday 6 December featured several performances including cabaret stars Issi Dye and Dolly Diamond as well as poetry from industry veteran Jane Clifton.

The Potato Shed has a reputation for hosting top-quality performances and plays a crucial role in supporting Australian performing artists.

The 2024 season has been curated to appeal to everyone, including our youngest of theatre enthusiasts, and will be sure to draw sell-out crowds like it did this year.

What an amazing 2024 launch for the wonderful Potato Shed, one of my favourite places to bring my shows.

The 2024 program features award-winning First Nations singer and songwriter Emma Donovan performing a concert of much-loved and new music recorded in Gumbaynggirr and Noongar languages.

The hugely popular Women of Wit '24 return on their national tour with a guaranteed night of laughs from female celebrities and rising stars, produced by Comedy Victoria.

Two of Australia's best-known performers husband and wife duo, Frankie J Holden and Michelle Pettygrove, will head to the Potato Shed in October with a charismatic show about life and love that will ensure plenty of laughs.

VCE drama playlist shows include SLAP.BANG.KISS! by Dan Giovannoni, presented by Melbourne Theatre Company; and Way, a theatre masterpiece written and performed by Sally McKenzie.

Back by popular demand the Morning Showtime series offers patrons a 10:30am Tuesday show with morning tea provided.

Relive the songs made famous by Cliff Richard and the Shadows when Beyond the Shadows takes to the stage on Tuesday, 9 April.

Local group The Geekers return to the Shed to perform The Seekers and Beyond with dialogue from Colin Mockett OAM.
