Program released for Pharmacy Connect 2022

Today, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia released its program for Pharmacy Connect, a COVID-Safe Event being held on 1-3 September at the Hilton Sydney.

The program theme for 2022 is 'building better connections with patients'.

Kos Sclavos AM, Pharmacy Connect Convenor and former Guild National President, said that the program brings together sessions delivering interesting content on leadership and business content to support attendees to learn how to build better patient relationships.

"We have all experienced a great deal of change over the last couple of years," said Mr Sclavos. "This year's program has been designed to help us consolidate these changes and move forward with some practical content that will help us deliver better outcomes for our patients."

"Some of the highly practical sessions include information on buying and selling pharmacies, dealing with complaints, setting and maintaining a budget and forecasting where we may be heading with regards to rentals."

"The program also includes some clinical content which I know will be of interest to pharmacists."

Mr Sclavos said attendees could purchase early bird registrations confidently, as the 100% COVID refund guarantee introduced for APP would be extended to Pharmacy Connect 2022 delegates.

"If attendees can't travel to Pharmacy Connect due to COVID-19 restrictions they can receive a full refund, transfer their registration to another delegate, or receive a 50% refund but still access the conference recordings," Mr Sclavos said, "attendees can make arrangements with the certainty that they will not be out of pocket.
