Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to an ongoing incident at Fortitude Valley this afternoon.
An exclusion zone has been established following a disturbance, with police attempting to make contact with an individual.
The exclusion zone includes parts of Gregory Terrace, Anderson Street, Diggles Close, Water Street and Brunswick Street.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
Those within the exclusion zone are asked to remain indoors and limit movement until further notice.
