Public appeal: Robbery and assault, Labrador

Police have released vision of a man as part of the investigation into the robbery and assault of a man at a Labrador unit on June 29.

Around 2.30am, a 49-year-old Hope Island man was outside a Marine Parade unit block when he was approached by a man who was not known to him and assaulted.

The man then stole his keys and wallet.

The victim sustained a broken hand, lacerated eye socket and facial bruising and sought medical attention.

Investigations continue.
