NDIS participants, providers and the wider disability community are invited to have their say on NDIS pricing, as part of consultation for the 2025-26 Annual Pricing Review.
A spokesperson for the NDIA said the Agency welcomed feedback on the price limits set annually by the NDIA.
"For the first time, we're identifying areas of focus for the review as part of the consultation process," the spokesperson said.
"This change gives participants, providers and the broader community the opportunity to provide meaningful, targeted feedback, which will be considered as we prepare our final recommendations."
The 2025-26 Annual Pricing Review is focused on:
- disability support worker supports
- therapy supports
- support coordination
- plan management
- social, community and civic participation.
Feedback will help shape pricing adjustments for the next financial year and inform extensive pricing work to be undertaken over the next three years.
"Price limits are set with the aim of striking a balance between participants getting improved outcomes and value for money when using their plans and maintaining a strong market of diverse, high-quality providers," the spokesperson said.
"A key consideration for this year's review is whether more differentiated approaches to pricing could better reflect the diversity of supports, delivery contexts and participant needs across the NDIS market."
The Annual Pricing Review is the evidence-based process for setting NDIS price limits and related pricing arrangements.
Each year the review assesses whether current price settings continue to support participant outcomes, provider sustainability and well-functioning markets, and identifies where change may be needed.
The spokesperson said consultation had been brought forward to meet a commitment to releasing NDIS pricing recommendations earlier.
"This will give participants and providers more time to prepare for any pricing adjustments before they come into effect on 1 July," they said.
"Consultation is open for two months, until 8 February 2026, to make sure that everyone has a chance to have their say."
In December, a three-year pricing Workplan will be released, a multi-year pathway to ensure NDIS pricing supports sustainable, high-quality services and value for participants.
