Redevelopment of Lakeshore Caravan Park at Knowsley

Adventures Victoria Pty Ltd has applied for an EPA development licence for the Lakeshore Caravan Park site at Knowsley, near Lake Eppalock.

The application is for a wastewater treatment plant, with all recycled water to be used for irrigation on the site. During winter, the recycled water would be stored in a storage lagoon.

EPA will assess the application for any impacts to the environment including noise, odour, dust or water contamination issues. The plant is expected to treat more than 5,000 litres per day, which triggers the need for a development licence from EPA.

The proposal is part of the applicant's plans to redevelop the site to offer accommodation and recreation facilities.
