As a long-standing Principal Partner of thePerth Scorchers in themens Big Bash League competition, is proud to announce that for the 2020/21 season, we will be extending our partnership of the Perth Scorchers to theWomens Big Bash League (WBBL).

REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi is pleased to be able to fully support Western Australia in the national BBL competition.

The WBBL has seen an increase in popularity over the yearsand it isgreattobe able to support and help continue the competitions growth, especially during the challenging COVID-19 times, Mr Pozzi said.

Led by Sophie Devine as team captain, the Scorchers open their upcoming WBBL season on Sunday 25 Octoberat 7.20am WSTagainst defending champions, the Brisbane Heat.The match will be broadcast liveon Seven.

While there will be noWBBLgames played in Perth this season due to COVID-19 and Cricket Australia’s decision to playout the competition in a hub model, it doesnt mean that we cant all rally together and support the Scorchers inthe comfort of our loungeroom with family and friends, Mr Pozzi said.
