In the aftermath of the fourth Nordic Challenges Conference, the ReNEW-consortium now calls for panel proposals for the next annual conference.
The fifth Nordic Challenges Conference will thematize neighborhoods. Especially among the Nordic countries, their entanglements with the Baltic Sea Region, Eastern and Central Europe, the EU, the UK, and the Arctic.
The conference aims to explore current developments and challenges dealing with neighbourly interactions, such as issues related to the Covid 19-pandemic.
The proposals are expected to address themes and challenges in the Nordic countries, recent schisms and rapprochements, or ingrained affinities and differences.
The proposals can exist of conference papers, book panels, author meets critics, or roundtables and other events with leading scholars and practitioners as discussants or participants.
Submit your panel proposal before the 8 of January 2022.
In addition, the Conference offers a forum for any research dealing with the Nordic countries in an evolving world that fits under one of the ReNEW hub's six research streams.
