Federation Council's key strategic documents are currently being developed which guide our future planning and allocation of budget to deliver community services, initiatives and projects.

Council will be presented with the draft Operational Plan, Delivery Program, Financial Plans and Community Strategic Plan and its May meeting of Council. Combined, these documents provide a guide to Council's operations and help the organisation meet community demands for services and infrastructure by maximising what it can achieve with its available resources, whilst planning for a sustainable future.

Council's key strategic documents will be on public exhibition from Monday, May 16 through to 5pm Monday, June 13. We will be seeking feedback from the community on these draft key strategic documents. This includes our:

  • Draft Delivery Program;
  • Draft Operational Plan;
  • Draft Community Strategic Plan;
  • Draft Fees and Charges 2022-2023; and
  • 10 Year Financial Plan.

Council is committed to engaging with the community on the draft suite of documents, and will therefore be hosting a number of Delivery Program and Draft Budget Roadshow Sessions at the proposed locations and times:

  • Wednesday, May 18: Oddfellows Hall, Corowa - 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
  • Thursday, May 19: Howlong Multipurpose Hall & Gymnasium - 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
  • Wednesday, May 25: Mulwala Council Office & Library - 5.30pm - 6.30pm.
  • Thursday, May 26: Urana Council Chamber - 5.30pm - 6.30pm.

Federation Council Mayor, Cr Pat Bourke said Council looks forward to engaging with the community on the draft suite of documents.

"Council encourages all residents to register to attend our roadshow events in Corowa, Howlong, Mulwala and Urana," he said.

"These sessions will provide Council with the opportunity to have face to face engagement, something we have really missed throughout the Covid period."
