Rock and suspected incendiary device thrown at property in Colac

A crime scene has been set up after a rock and suspected incendiary device was thrown at a property in Colac this morning.

Police have been told the occupants of a home in George Street were woken after hearing what sounded like two bangs in quick succession about 3am.

The man and woman who were home at the time discovered a rock had been thrown through the lounge room window and a device out the front of the home which is a suspected incendiary device.

A crime scene has been set up and it is expected detectives and police from the Bomb Response Unit will attend the property this morning.

The man and woman weren't physically injured.
