Rosa Glen Incident

Busselton Detectives have charged a 30-year-old man in relation to an incident that occurred in the area of Rosa Glen yesterday, Monday 26 September 2022.

About 10am, the man, whose vehicle had broken down in bushland, was walking along Mowen Road when he flagged down a passing vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stopped and provided a lift to the man who led him into bushland. It will be alleged the man then threatened the driver with a knife and attempted to steal his vehicle, before leaving the area on foot.

The driver of the vehicle, a man in his 60s, sustained minor injuries.

The 30-year-old man was later located at his vehicle in bushland and taken into custody.

He has been charged with one count of Attempted Aggravated Armed Robbery and one count of Possess a Prohibited Drug, and will appear before the Bunbury Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 27 September 2022.
