SALISBURY PLAYS IS BACK WITH SPECIAL GUESTS FROM 'THE BLOCK'

There will also be special guests Bianca and Carla from Channel 9’s The Block. The former netballers and current renovators will be joining in the amusement by testing their skills and luck in the giant inflatable netball game.

Salisbury Plays at Bridgestone Reserve this year will be a celebration by local sports and athletics teams who a thrilled at decision to create Bridgestone Reserve athletics facility which will cater to the athletics booming participation rates both locally and across Adelaide. The facility is due for completed in 2019/2020.

City of Salisbury Mayor Gillian Aldridge, OAM, said Salisbury Plays is an initiative to encourage residents to head outside and discover the many parks and reserves available in the area.

"There are almost 200 parks in Salisbury with 140 play spaces with Council continuing to invest in its parks for the enjoyment of our whole community," Mayor Aldridge said.

"Salisbury Plays is a wonderful opportunity for the whole community to come together and experience the fantastic facilities we have in the area, while also enjoying a fun day out with the family."

The day will feature exciting sports events hosted by local athletics teams from Ingle Farm Little Athletics Club, Northern Districts Athletics Club and Salisbury Little Athletics Club as well as sports clubs from Belgravia Leisure, Northern Districts Baseball Club, Para Hills Knights Soccer Club and the South Australian Parkour Association.
