"The importance of higher education has never been greater," said President Pinto. "Thanks to our talented faculty and staff, UC's impact on our students, our city and the world is ever expanding. It is humbling to lead this incredible institution, and I'm always appreciative of those who take the time to attend the State of the University event. My hope is they leave feeling both informed and inspired to continue their good work."
