Search underway for missing boy at Guildford

A search is underway as serious concerns are held for a child missing from Guildford.

Imidad Essa, aged 10, was last seen about 2.20pm today (Thursday 5 January 2023) on Mountford Avenue, Guildford.

When he could not be located, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concern for his welfare due to his age.

Imidad is described as being of African appearance, about 150cm tall of thin with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue hoodie and dark blue track pants.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
