The program for the 2022 NSW Seniors Festival has been released, with the theme for this year being 'Reconnect.'
The official opening will be held on Monday 28th March at the Goulburn Workers Club. The ceremony will include the presentation of the 2022 Senior of the Year and the Community Group of the Year awards as well as a performance by the Goulburn Regional Ukulele Band (GRUB). Guest Speaker – Luke Wallace & Local Youth – The Youth Mentoring Program: Strengthening the Next Generation. Followed by the Active Aging Expo
Includes morning tea provided by Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
Throughout the week there will be a number of fantastic events including:
- Guided meditation at the Library
- Tour of Rocky HIll War Memorial Museum
- Joey Fimmano Stage Show
- Tour of the Goulburn Historic Waterworks Museum
- Special Seniors movie at Lilac City Cinema
- Road Safety Trivia
- Yarn & Tea Time, at the Library
