About 2.25am, police were called to a home on Currie Street following reports that four people, with their faces covered and armed with weapons, had forced entry to the residence.
Upon arrival, officers located a man aged in his 40s with stab wounds to his chest and abdomen. He was conveyed by St John WA to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A second man, aged in his 50s, was also located at the address with a stab wound to his lower back. He was conveyed by St John WA to Rockingham Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives are investigating reports an altercation occurred inside the residence before the offenders fled the scene on foot a short time later.
Investigators have linked the incident to an earlier disturbance at the same address about 11pm on Saturday, 22 August 2026, when several people allegedly attempted to gain entry to the property and caused significant damage.
Detectives believe this was a targeted incident and there are no concerns for the safety of the broader community at this time.
