Shaping and supporting healthy men

NT Government

Building on the impact of positive male role models for men who are struggling or need support is the focus of the second annual Men's Places grant round opening today, coinciding with International Men's Day celebrations.

The Territory Labor Government is investing in stronger communities and men's wellbeing with a total of $100,000 available in this year's grant round to support men, foster gender equity and ensure safe and healthy families.

Local community groups can apply for up to $10,000 to deliver programs or events that support men's health and wellbeing.

Funded projects will meet the unique needs of men, helping them to make positive changes and thrive by providing social connections, peer support, education, skills development, and positive health and wellbeing.

Aligned with the Northern Territory Gender Equality Action Plan 2022-25, the grants focus on activities across five key areas - community engagement, health and wellbeing, safety, economic security, and leadership and participation.
