The Shisha No Thanks Community Grants program is now open for applications.

The Shisha No Thanks Program is a project that aims to raise awareness of the harms of waterpipe smoking in young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

This initiative offers small grants of up to $3,000 to community groups, which will conduct community engagement activities or events that focus on increasing community awareness of the health harms of shisha smoking. Events can include a fun run, morning tea, soccer competition, BBQ, or any other community engagement activity that promotes raising awareness of the harms of shisha smoking.

The program is open to community organisations that are passionate about creating a healthier community.

The grant application deadline is March 17th, 2023, at 5pm.
