Showers in SE, Cold Front Hits WA

Hello with your National Weather Forecast as we take a look at what we're expecting for this coming weekend. That's for Saturday, the 30th of May and a quick peek at Sunday as well.

First to the synoptic map and we can see during the morning rain and storms finally clearing off the east coast.

But another cold front will approach the south-east of the country and showers will increase for South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and inland parts of New South Wales through the day, with colder southerly winds coming up behind that system.

In Western Australia, rain and storms building along the coast.

That's ahead of a low pressure system and very strong cold front moving through that will bring widespread heavy rainfall, damaging to destructive winds and dangerous coastal conditions.
