Western Australia's largest careers and job expo, the SkillsWest Careers and Employment Expo, takes place this week, from 24 to 26 July 2025 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Featuring more than 160 organisations, the SkillsWest Expo provides opportunities for Western Australians of all ages to explore career pathways, training options, and job opportunities across diverse industries.
Attendees can engage directly with educators, course providers, and employers to explore tailored career pathways. Representatives from Jobs and Skills Centres, North Metropolitan TAFE, and South Metropolitan TAFE will be on hand to offer personalised advice on apprenticeships, traineeships, and training options.
Visitors can also attend free seminars offering insights into emerging industries and future workforce needs, or explore career-related tasks in the WorldSkills Try'a Skill area - designed to showcase practical skills across a variety of careers.
With the State Government's continued investment in TAFE and training, the SkillsWest Expo is an excellent opportunity to network, learn and discover new career possibilities.
$331 million has been allocated in the 2025-26 State Budget across a range of programs, including a $100 million investment in WA's vocational training system, ensuring continued access to fee free and low fee TAFE options into 2026.
For those looking to enter the workforce, change careers, or explore further study, the SkillsWest Expo is a unique opportunity to connect with industry experts and discover what's possible.
