Small Businesses Set To Grow With Funding Boost

The Cook Government's Small Business Growth Grants have been awarded to more than 100 small businesses across Western Australia.

Delivering on a 2025 election commitment, the grants of up to $10,000 matched funding have been offered to small-to-medium enterprises throughout the State to invest in expert advice and services to build capability and grow their businesses.

The successful applicants, across a range of industries have been awarded funding to invest in business development areas including digital marketing, marketing and communications planning, strategic business planning, business improvement and innovation and work health and safety

The recipients span a wide range of industries - from technical services to allied health, fitness, construction, arts and entertainment and more, with regional businesses accounting for nearly 22 per cent of grant recipients.

Perway Construction Services, based in Greenwood, is one of the grant recipients. The family-owned small business will benefit from a $7,500 contribution to support growth strategies for their premium renovation and ecofriendly granny flats business.

Perway Construction has engaged Mamba Digital, a local marketing agency, to deliver marketing, social media and digital growth strategies to help attract and generate quality leads for their products.

As stated by Small Business Minister Jackie Jarvis:

"The Small Business Growth Grants program has provided a pathway to help fast track the growth strategies of established small businesses, who are ready to evolve.

"By providing matched funding towards specialist business services and expert advice, we are helping boost these businesses into their next phase so they can continue to grow and diversify our economy.

"Not only have the Small Business Growth Grants directly assisted the successful applicants, but the vast majority of specialist services are being sought from local service providers - delivering a double win to our small business sector."
