Bayside Council will be hosting a workshop for those interested in setting up their own garden, but don't have much space to work with.
Participants will learn how to set up a small garden suitable for courtyards, balconies, very small gardens, and even windowsills or sunny benchtops. Come along to also learn how to turn food scraps into valuable compost, nourishing the garden that you have just built.
Good design and planning is fundamental for a successful small garden. Attendees will not only learn on creating an abundant small space garden, but they will have their own layered garden bed and plant seedlings to take home afterwards.
The free workshop will be held on Saturday 2 May at Bayside Garden Centre and will run from 9am - 1pm.
Registrations are essential.
