Sons of the West

is returning to Brimbank in March 2020.

Registrations to take part in the popular men's health program designed for men aged 18 years and over are now open.

Brimbank Mayor, Cr Georgina Papafotiou said the 10-week program was an opportunity for local men to learn more about health in a safe and inclusive space.

'For the past six years, Council has been running Sons of the West in Brimbank, in partnership with the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation.

'Each year the program has been very well attended by locals interested in learning more about, and improving their health

'Participants meet for about two hours per week for the 10-week program to hear from guest presenters about different health topics, and take part in group-based exercise.

'The best part about the program is that in addition to offering the opportunity to take control of your own health, it's also a great way to make new friends and have fun in the process,' Cr Papafotiou said.

Sons of the West in Brimbank will be held on Wednesdays from 6.30-8.30pm, starting on 18 March 2020, at Victoria University, St Albans Campus, McKechnie Street, St Albans.

There is no charge to participate.
