South Australia coronovirus update as at 15 October

The Department of Health has reported five new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.

The five cases include three females and two males aged between 25 and 30. All five cases are in hotel quarantine and travelled to Perth from either India, Nepal or Brazil.

The State now has a total of 709 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

There are 24 active cases and 676 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 597 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 578 were assessed and 576 swabbed.

There have been 456,375 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 77,878 were from regional WA.
