Police have arrested a man following an investigation into child sex crimes.
Detectives from the Special Crime Investigation Section today arrested a 56-year-old man from the southern suburbs for offences involving sexual abuse of children and aggravated indecent assault involving five victims.
Charges relate to offending that is alleged to have occurred between 2018 and 2025 as well as offending which occurred between 1998 and 2010 when the man was a foster carer. The offences are alleged to have been committed in the state's mid north and metropolitan Adelaide.
The man was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at the earliest opportunity, likely Friday 27 March.
